At Society Salon, we understand that hair service pricing can often be confusing & hard to plan for. Our goal is to simplify this process, making it easier for you to budget and enjoy your experience without any surprises.

Transparent Pricing Structure

When you visit Society Salon, our pricing is structured to ensure clarity and fairness. At checkout, you’ll notice your bill is itemized into two main categories:

• Services: Our service costs are the base cost of the service you are receiving and pays your stylist for their time, as well as an initial color usage cost up to a certain weight of product per service. We offer tiered level pricing. This range is reflective of the time and expertise required for your specific services, ensuring you pay only for what you need.

• Vish Additional Product Use: We know no two heads of hair are the same and will require different measurements of color needed to create your dream look. To maintain our commitment to transparent pricing, chemicals are weighed by our color management system Vish. The exact cost of usage and disposal is recorded on your client card. This way, you’re only charged for the exact amount used during your service and not any unnecessary overmixing that could possibly be done by your stylist.

Paying With Plastic Service Fee

Additionally, please note that a separate 3% service fee applies to all purchases paid for with plastic. This fee is independent of service and product costs, ensuring that our pricing for these essentials remains transparent and fair. We understand that every penny counts, which is why we’re introducing an opportunity for our valued customers to save. By paying with cash, you can enjoy the full 3% discount on your purchases.

Policies

Hair specific Policies

Service Guarantee

We hope that you love every square inch of your hair when you leave Society and we strive to make it right the first time. We guarantee all of our work. In order to do this we need you to use the best products and practices at home.

  • Wait 48 hours after chemicals to wash or style your hair.
  • Use high quality, professional hair care that we recommend or are familiar with.
  • Use high quality tools such as wet brushes for detangling and professional hot tools.
  • Use hot tools minimally.
  • Handle your hair carefully as it may be fragile after recent chemical services.

We will do everything we can to share our professional knowledge with you so you are equipped to take care of your hair at home. When we make a professional recommendation, we expect you to follow it. Those that do not take our professional recommendations may void the guarantee of their hair service.

Society Salon is not responsible for holding, keeping or storing extension hair for any time frame exceeding 9 months. Any hair unclaimed or unused after that time frame is subject to removal from salon storage at any time without notice, no refunds or replacements will be given on hair not claimed or used by this time frame.

We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at Society. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.

We feel strongly that it is our job and privilege to redo our own work and we look at this as an opportunity to learn and grow deeper with a client.

If there is ever anything about your hair that you are unhappy with, we ask that you follow these steps:

  • Contact the salon immediately or within 48 hours.
  • Do not allow anyone else to touch your hair (professional or otherwise), it will void our guarantee. 
  • Be prepared to come in to show us what is wrong; we will need to see it in-person. 
  • Be prepared to come back for an adjustment; we do not refund money.

 

All services are non-refundable but we are more than happy to schedule an adjustment service, free of charge. For the adjustment to be free, the service must be a mistake made by the service provider. There may be a fee if the problem is solely that you’ve changed your mind from your original plan. You have 48 hours to contact Society to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 10 days past the initial service date.

The adjustment will be scheduled with the same stylist who provided the service. However, in the case that the original stylist has no time available, or if the service provider is unable to provide the service, an exception may be made at the discretion of management.

Please note, the growing trend in hair color is these massive projects that are time consuming and expensive, often times these projects result in multiple sessions to achieve your desired result. This is not considered a redo, this is part of the journey you may be on with your hair to achieve your goals.

What is included in adjustment services:

  • Toning
  • Small amounts of color removing
  • Added highlights or lowlights that can be applied in under 60 minutes.
  • Treatments for extreme situations where the hair has been severely compromised.
  • Small changes to the haircut.
  • Small changes to the fringe.

Salon Policies

Cancellation Policy

Appointments are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or changes. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for 50% the cost of the service for which you were scheduled.

We have a 10 minute lateness policy. If you are running late, please call ahead to let us know. Should you arrive beyond 10 minutes late, you may have to forfeit your appointment completely and you will be charged 50% the cost of the services scheduled.

If you do not contact us to cancel/reschedule and do not show up on the scheduled date and time of your appointment you will be charged 100% the cost of the service originally scheduled.

We do require deposits for our hair extensions services. After your initial consultation, you will be required to pay 50% of the cost of the hair. This is so we can order the hair & schedule your install appointment. 

A credit card is required to be kept on file to schedule an appointment. We require 24 hours notice to CANCEL an appointment. In the case that 24 hours notice is not given for a cancellation/rescheduling, Society Salon reserves the right to and will charge the credit card on file.

As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation text that you will need to reply with “Yes” to confirm or “R” to reschedule. If you do not reply via text, we will give you a 24 hour courtesy call. However, if you do not confirm, your appointment will be cancelled and a cancellation fee will apply. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed/cancelled appointments and the cancellation fee.​

It is our priority to conduct thorough consultations for all services provided through the salon. However, it is each client’s personal responsibility to be upfront & honest about their hair history. 

Any damage caused to the hair as a result of undivulged information during the consultation is not the responsibility of the stylist or Society Salon.
